Bill Medley

Bill leads the technology strategy and operations of the organization. He is passionate about aligning technology with business growth, high performing teams, and leveraging data and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Prior to joining Urban One, he served in key leadership roles at major media, energy, academic, technology, and management consulting firms. He led key initiatives that included the technology integration of a Fortune 5 corporate merger, led the technical governance role in several large media M&A transactions, introduced a Service Management framework in a large academic environment, and advancing the implementation of an enterprise architecture framework in the DoD organization. In each position, he championed the organizational change management and transformation required to realize the value of these large initiatives.

During his career Bill has worked in national and international environments. His experience includes assignments in North America, South America, Europe, and Africa. His multi-national experience has contributed to his success in the management and delivery of IT services in a global market.

Mr. Medley is a recognized leader and has delivered industry speeches to academic and government organizations. He currently serves on the Board of the Mid Atlantic CIO Forum and has been the Vendor Liaison for the past 2 years.
