Mike Gross is the CIO of Catholic Charities of Maryland – the leading private provider of human services in Maryland.  Catholic Charities operates over 80 programs serving 160,000 individuals annually in 200 locations across 9 Maryland counties and Baltimore City.  He also provides IT advisory services to other non-profits.

 Mike has served in senior leadership roles in medium to large global companies including consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution, retail, non-profit, and healthcare industries.  Prior to joining Catholic Charities Mike held the position of VP of IT with TESSCO technologies.  He spent the majority of his career at Stanley Black and Decker with executive management responsibility for IT organizations in the US, EMEA, Asia-Pac, and Latin America.

He holds Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.  He is a 6-Sigma certified Greenbelt and has multiple industry presentations in Supply Chain Management and Advanced ERP (SAP).  He has served as a Big Brother Mentor, is active with the Habitat for Humanity Care-A-Vanner program, and serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake.
